![]() ![]() Many teachers like to change the color of "F" grades into another color so they're easily identifiable in the gradebook. This color applies to the text of the grades in the gradebook. Grade Title Colors: this setting allows users to change what color a particular grade-range displays in the gradebook. ![]() This helps teachers differentiate between students who scored a zero on an assignment and those who did not turn the assignment in. A favorite of users is to add an "M" Grade for "Missing" and to either select that it is Excluded or a Zero in the gradebook. The most secure way for students to see their grades is by using their own access to Focus or by their Parents accessing Parent Portal.Ĭustom Grades: this section allows you to make a custom grade for either "Exclude" or "Zero" grades in the gradebook. Posting grades for the class to see is not a required practice. Please note, however, students do have their own access to Focus through to see their grades and parents have access after signing up for Parent Portal.
